Description: The GlycoEnzDB is a manually curated glycoEnzyme database, primarily focused on humans. It covers 390 enzymes across 28 pathway maps. Facilities are also available to create custom glycosylation reaction pathways using experimental data in SBML format and for pathway simulation

About

• Extracellular sulfatases 1 and 2 are secreted proteins that remodel the glycosaminoglycans in the extracellular matrix by removing sulfate groups.
• SULF1 and SULF2 specifically act on GlcNAc 6-sulfate, diminishing the amount of heparan sulfate proteoglycans.
• SULF1 overexpression in ovarian cancer confers cisplatin resistance.
