Description: The GlycoEnzDB is a manually curated glycoEnzyme database, primarily focused on humans. It covers 390 enzymes across 28 pathway maps. Facilities are also available to create custom glycosylation reaction pathways using experimental data in SBML format and for pathway simulation

About

• In enzymology assays, β4GalT1 and β4Gal2 display similar specificity for Type II LacNAc chains. Both enzymes preferring the branch of GlcNAcβ1-2Manα1-3 and GlcNAcβ1-4Manα1-3 arm over GlcNAcβ1-2Manα1-6. But, both can transfer β4-Gal residues to N-glycans in the tetra antennary glycan.
