About

* In enzymology assays, β4GalT1 and β4Gal2 display similar specificity for Type II LacNAc chains. Both enzymes preferring the branch of GlcNAcβ1-2Manα1-3 and GlcNAcβ1-4Manα1-3 arm over GlcNAcβ1-2Manα1-6. But, both can transfer β4-Gal residues to N-glycans in the tetra antennary glycan.
